In the archaeological field, the Folco Quilici Library is full of documentary material covering: DESCRIPTIONS OF ARCHAEOLOGICAL AREAS OF ROME AND ITS EMPIRE.

Below is a (concise) list of sites and monuments belonging to the Roman age captured on film in our Library - 35 mm and 16 mm negatives, ground level and aerial footage.

  1. Ruins in Rome Forums, Colosseum, Theaters etc..
  2. The Roman port of Ostia andthe ports of Aquileia and Tharros.
  3. In Italy Remains of villas in Pompeii, Giannutri, Garda, Tindari. Remains of the cities of Sepino, Aosta, Gubbio, Luni. The Amphitheater in Verona.Statues and inscriptions in various museums.
  4. In Europe Aqueducts in Segovia. Diocletian's Palace in Split, monuments and museums in Romania, monumental, necropolises in southern France.
  5. Outside Europe Extensive aerial and ground level footage of Roman remains in Tunisia: cities, temples, mosaics, statues. The El Djemm Amphitheater. Roman remains in Carthage.
